Where it all began!

Way back in November 21, 2011!! yes Samuli it was that long ago!!

I say loser as the car is still sitting in UK waiting shipment to Finland, life, work and relationships all got in the way of every plan to ship it, then this winter some idiot spunked his savings on a red car 

So still it sits, i call it mileage saving! In England.  Plans are afoot to fetch it here this summer but took a kick in the balls today as i found the budget car shipper i had links to no longer operates 

SO it seems it may be another months salary has to be saved towards it 


sometimes i wonder if the gods are conspiring against me ever getting it here!!! 


anyway the ad for the car read as follows

there has been muchos parts gathered for it over time, intercooler, radiator, new K&N, silicone hoses, MS ECU blah blah blah

Maybe next summer it will see the roads of Finland!!

A little worse for wear after a year in the dirty stuff but here at last!!

next stop the Child staffed car wash!! best get em to work early i say




and with only minutes to spare we made it to check in 


Next stop was to surprise Samuli with its arrival as he has been doubting i will ever bting her over  Thanks to Antti one Gotcha award was served!!

Then finally i had 2 minutes to open the bonnet and Samuli found this wonderous badge

Well its starting to come together at last
MS ECU is in and wired.
Boost Control SOlenoid done
MTXL done
intercooler, mounted just need some silicon hoses with take offs for dump valve and IAT sensor
TIming Belt done
Charcoal gone
EV 14s Fitted
fuel lines replaced

hopefully saturday will see it running in some way!!







Temporary home for ECU till i strip the AC box and make a plate

Kaide if you need some inspiration, think that this has been achieved by two guys in a shed with a Halfords (read decent Biltema) socket set and a few other tools.   from your pics i think you got a much more clinical set up one last push fella and its there

Thanks for kickin my ass ! Now the car is " up and running"  .  Well , it burns rubber, that´s true !  I tried it with 8 psi of boost , Bipes acu and 70 psi fuel pressure. Maybe about 180bhp ? Now , back to the garage an some working with the suspension , seats, roll cage, megasquirt , injectors etc etc etc ...

I am at a deadlock until i get the MS set up as cant do much else till then.

She does run all be it like a bag of spanners but at least i know it works, alas MS doesnt know what injectors we are running etc. so off to buy a laptop with Serial port this week!!

Check www.huuto.net . U can get one for 50 euros , and use Win XP , nothing else .
